Pounce/Gigi's November 2024 Journal

Nov 1-7...I spent a great deal of time working on the WEB. Finally, it appears that it will be easier now. Increasing the letter size makes a difference. I am 84 years old and vision issues have complicated working in front of a computer.  
            .  note: First of the month worming/tick/flea "meds" are now in place.
               note: I may continue making photo banners for each month. They  
                         require a great deal of extra work. i did begin an attempt to use 
                         a spread sheet (not a fan).
Nov 8-11...Pounce and Gigi have been exercise/training about every day. My health seems to be getting a bit better. I had a few days when vertigo appeared and dealing with it is not fun. most of my issues I think are Covid related and eventually working through this will reach some sort of conclusion.  
Nov 12...Pounce, Gigi and I trained and exercised at the Riverside Park DTA. It was a good session of "stand alone/send back" singles.

Nov 13,14...Tuesday and Wednesday off for all...high in the low 50's
Nov 15...Thursday we left the house late. It was almost sundown when the setup was in place. Both did 7-8 short "walking send back singles" working paying attention and doing things correctly. Pounce is very precise, but Gigi still has a tendency to get ahead of herself. It was dark when we got home. The best thing about the latest dog exercises is that I am not getting nearly as tired as I was a few weeks ago. There have been some questions about how my 84 year old body will be able to keep at it.
Nov 16...Two bags of dog food shipped by Chewy arrive today. It
is a good thing because not much is left. On a side note, my phone has been extremely quiet since a great deal of the political "noise" has all but disappeared.
Nov 17-18...two days off
Nov 19...Pounce and Gigi did a quick set of "stand alone send back walking singles" (breezy and cold...Riverside Park DTA)
Nov 20...Wednesday...day off
